In 1996 I studied modules in Anatomy and Physiology / Nutrition / Design Fitness Programmes etc, under "The International Sports Therapy Diploma". As I've aged and along with a recent skin eruption accompanied by tummy uncomfortableness, my interest in health has been re-ignited. Disclaimer - The following information is based on what little knowledge I've acquired... Via; reading, studies, personal experience. FOOD FUEL that Strengthens - We all have had a fast-food dish at some point in our lives. And probably experienced that feeling where, you eat, maybe burp and within an hour or so, you're hungry again. An amazing thing occurs when we eat that allows food consumed to transform into blood. After food has gone to the stomach, and the body takes from it what benefits it, the rest is passed out as waste. So how do we obtain the maximum diet and fuel that will benefit our bodies to function to its optimum potential? I'm glad you asked. There are a few contributing factors that I will share as a principle. You can then consider your life and apply as much as is needed. Get ready to see positive beneficial changes in your body. FOR YOUR INFORMATION Have you ever heard the quote, 'Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food -(Hoppocrates /The Father of medicine said this?') - Did you know the bible character King Solomon, , says, 'Eat for strength and not for gluttony?' Prayer and bible text - Drink water - Aim to Have Healthy bowel motion - Shower and dress - Go for invigorating walk. - Fixed yourself a healthy fruit salad Food Tip - The key is to minimise -Heat -Water -Light -Air To fresh fruit veg etc in order to get maximum nutrition as food loses nutrients via ... these four means. WHY TRY THIS Approach? For the christian, we run a race that's equivalent to a marathon. In order to complete...we need the best source of strength for our Spiritual, Physical and Social Life. In Bible study and prayer we grow our relationship with God, which increases our knowledge of our Saviour and strengthens us. This in turn provides staying power for life's battles, whether expected ot not etc The early hours of unbothered time between God and yourself sets you up with spiritual strength for the day. As you walk, you can meditate on your morning word from the bible, soak in the Lord's blessed nature and breathe deeply of the fresh air to strengthen your lungs, increase circulation etc. WATER INTERNALLY When we drink water ,(you can boil a kettle from the night before, let it cool and drink), especially first thing on rising we assist the circadian rhythm linked with digestion of the Elimination stage, which is active 04:00-12 mid-day. We also fuel those organs in our body that thrive on water, to function more effectively. Eg the brain, kidneys, etc WATER EXTERNALLY To Bathe, shower or wash aids in the elimination process of the largest cell, skin. When you eat fresh fruits, you get important vitamins, that are essential for health. They have their own digestive enzymes so only take 20 minutes to digest. To get the best from fruits, eat them on their own. (When you mix them with food this causes fermentation...the build up of which leads to skin breakouts, upset in the system, acid build-up etc ... Nb/ You can have your best meal eg dinner, the earliest part of the day as your metabolism (the rate at which the body uses energy from food for fuel) is higher, than in the latter part of the day.
